Articles of Faith

1. We believe in One God, Maker of the heavens and earth.

2. We believe in the Triune God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (Mark 12:29, Matthew 28:19 – 20).

3. We believe in the incarnation of the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

4. We believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. It was written by Holy men of God and inspired by the Holy Spirit of God.

5. We believe in personal salvation of believers through the confession of their faith in Jesus our Lord; through His shed blood.

6. We believe in Water Baptism by immersion in water and not sprinkling.

7. We believe in baptism of the Holy Spirit accompanied by the initial evidence of “speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterances” (Acts 2:4).

8. We believe marriage is between a man and a woman and was instituted by God with Adam and Eve (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19: 4 – 5).

9. We believe in Divine Healing through faith, and that healing is a benefit of the atonement (Isaiah 53:5).

10. We believe in the Nine Gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12) and that these gifts are given throughout the Body of Christ and are in operation today.

11. We believe in the Imminent Return of our Lord Jesus Christ for His Church (“The Bride”).

12. We believe there is a literal Heaven and hell. Heaven is the place of eternal rest for the Saints and hell is the place of the unsaved.

13. We believe in the Great Commission, an outreach to the poor and lost in spirit (Mark 16: 15 – 16).

14. We believe in the Ordinances of the Church: Water Baptism – symbolizing the death, burial and resurrection with Christ in the newness of life (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10: 47 – 48). Lord’s Supper – symbolizing the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ as the covenant between God and Man (1 Corinthians 11: 21 – 28).
